After installing and launching the program, you will be able to select several deletion options from the program's interface. As such, you can select specific files or folders to be completely deleted or you can also select entire partitions or hard disks. Besides this, the program can also remove temporary files generated by web browsers with a single click. Even the temporary data generated by the Windows operating system, like recently opened files or typed words can be completely erased using O&O SafeErase. After each deletion process is complete, the program generates a complete report which can be easily accessed from the interface. The report displays a list of files and folders which have been wiped using the application.

From the settings area, you can select the wiping method used by the application. A more complex wiping method will require more time for the files and folders to be removed but will offer a higher efficiency.
